The Low Carbon Biofuels Forum (LCB) is an international group of experts in advanced biofuels covering a wide range of biomass conversion technologies, policy, sustainability, and other topics along the complete value chain. It aims to create a space where experts can meet and exchange information on recent progress on advanced biofuels, discuss on accelerating their market deployment, identify gaps in knowledge and how these can be overcome with innovation actions in the various research and demonstration projects around the world.
We have already organized field trips in EU and India (2G biofuels technology visits, R&D centers etc) and planning 2 more next year.
Some of the main members are representatives from Shell, TotalErg, Sumitomo, Axens, Concawe, Valmet, EWABA, University of British Columbia, Politecnico di Torino.
As EU Coordinator we organised the 3rd webinar on January 17th, 13-16 pm CET , on “walk through over the whole value chain of HEFA-SAF from field to check-in”, agenda below.
